When I (Dana) was a teen, I wanted real life so badly. I had such a hard time reconciling the demands and expectations of school, "the path", my faith, friends, sports, etc. Over the past decade I've been studying, mentoring, and guiding individuals to find their calling and mission in life.

Of course, it first began with reconciliation in my own life. I often say, "I'm all in on purpose", I just want people to know their purpose, why they exist, and what to do about it. 

My husband Matt and I started a small school in Grand Rapids, MI called Journey Academy for our two boys, Simon and Lucas, and the community. Purpose and calling is the foundation of our program. I am also a certified LifePlan facilitator through the Paterson Center. I come alive when helping others to discover who they are. Finding My Future is a culmination of my years of yearning for more, for wanting others to have more, to find fulfillment, purpose, and joy. My prayer is that this process can bring freedom, inspiration, excitement and joy to thousands of young people.
